shop around for sure but I'm never sure why people balk at the cost of legal services (big law firms charging astronomical prices being the exception). even your run of the mill local attorney is going to be charging $50 per hour or more for their time. however many estate lawyers will likely have flat rates for simple things and "form" documents but applying the law in any scenario is almost never simple and you don't want to be paying the price later because you got bad advice on the internet or grabbed a PDF off some website and called it a day. my favorite answer to 99% of legal questions begins with "it depends"

Description: Complete a 1-minute pre-test ($0.10 payment) to qualify for a 10-minute study ($0.80 payment)! We are investigating how people’s writing style and ability (linguistic fluency) is associated with different personal beliefs. This study will be conducted online in two parts. In the first part you will answer some short questions about yourself. This part will take about 1 minute and you will be paid $0.10 for this. Tomorrow, a new HIT which contains the main part of the study will be made available only to people who completed this first HIT. There, you will write a short essay and then respond to some questions about your personal beliefs. This part will take about 10 minutes and you will be paid $0.80. In total this study will take 11 minutes to complete, and you will be given $0.90 as reimbursement. The principal investigator for this study is Dr. Kristin Laurin.
