The requester couldn't do it for some reason so they opened a ticket with Amazon.



Did either of you notice when this happened if the transfer didn't show up at all on your Mturk Transfer History as even pending? The Mturk side for me shows as if I never even made a transfer except that all the money I had is gone.

Yes, I did. Both times. It was like money? What money. But Amazon could follow the tracks somehow and see what I did. They will find it. And if the first person you talked to said they couldn't help then yeah, politely ask for a supervisor or just call back until you get someone who can help. The last time it happened when I talked to them they were getting pretty skilled in handling it. The other thing is it doesn't always escalate to a real problem for them, though it is for you, until they start getting a lot of calls from other people about the same problem.

I'm helping to design a Video Games and Literature course for our course catalog, and the guy heading up the design got his request approved for a $5k Alienware rig and a handful of Vives.

Remember that the next time a university requester complains about not being able to pay a fair wage.

My favorite part? The course is probably going to use the first Dragon Age as the video game component.
