It is not a luxury. It is a skill and a very valuable one. When I was a single mom of 2 boys and working a $12/hr job and not receiving any child support, I was still able to budget and live within my means and get my money to work for me.

Budgeting is so important. I wish I would have known how to do it earlier. I was living outside of my means, living paycheck to paycheck and spending way too much on things I didnt need. Now I have cushion money in case any surprises happen.

My new vacuum is supposed to be delivered today! i'm trying not to get my hopes up. The delivery date keeps changing from today to tomorrow, but it says it's out for delivery. Fingers crossed!

We have to get new tires for our car. It's amazing the things you get excited for when you're an adult. Like, why can't I blow it all on junk food and stupid crap I don't need instead? :tearsofjoy:

Lol, I know! I told my husband it's showing my age being excited about the vacuum. My husband wants a new bed, but I think we are going to buy some stuff for the house with ours. Skipping out on a vacation this year to save some money too.

To spread out the cost a little and interest free, I would consider that Car Care Credit Card, pretty sure you get 6 months interest free on anything over 99 or 199. not sure the amount.
