02/10 - Snowy Saturday!

I just did this one and had a problem with it. It tends to stop several times through the survey. Once I restarted and the other times I just fiddled until it started again. But it is enough to be annoying. I did get it finished and contacted the requester and he got back immediately and said he's getting it fixed. So it's worth it if you can catch it when it's fixed.

Ok, I'm a newb but I do know not to expect a whole lot on Saturdays with HITS. Right?

But yeesh! I am tired of being the HIT police I feel like every other HIT right now I have to report for some policy violation or broken content. That's what I get for not paying more attention to my reviews script --- whichever one that is I don't remember. Turkopticon? Oh well. It's all part of the grind. Onwards and upwards to 500 HITS next. I still have 5+ pending to get up/past 100 approved HITS.

Weekends are almost always complete garbage.

In many cases when something is broken it would be a lot more effective to message the requester than report it.
I've only ever reported a HIT when it's a full on scam......like trying to get referrals for websites and shit.

Hmmmmm OK thank you I've never messaged a requester before that does sound much better. Every once in awhile it's referrals and a download and a this and a that I'm like wow they really just went for it!

There are exceptions to downloads being TOS violations.
A program like Inquisit is ok.....google used to use "userzoom" and that one is ok too.....

I'm not sure if it actually states in the TOS these are exceptions but they are programs that have been used on this marketplace for many many years.

I only report hits that pay less than $15.00 an hour
