I don't know if you know but the last US remake episode was close to a word-for-word copy of the UK premiere ep with the same Moss actor and Joel McHale. I watched it after I watched the UK series. The creator wasn't involved. So the creator is saying this version will be completely its own thing and not try to use the premise of the original. Dunno what that means exactly.

PS - He's still also considering some new UK project around the boss guy too.
Yeah, I just loved the whole cast of the original. I felt like the characters and the people that played them really made the show, so it's hard for me to accept anything new that doesn't involve all of them.

I so loved this show, but no remake will ever do it any justice. I don't care who's running it.
I'm usually not a fan of localized remakes of British shows. I just don't see the point. I speak the language. I just feel like they dumb them down, a bit. I think any show that is a good and successful remake of a show is because it's not a remake but "completely it's own thing," and just shares a name. Like Broadchurch and Gracepoint(probs nobody has seen them but...). Broadchurch was great! Gracepoint was exactly the same, but on a different beach, and I couldn't get through it.:( Remember Arrietty? The Brit dub was perfectly fine! What was the point, other than money, for the Disney version. (Original language was best though) Sorry for no quotes. lol.

Sorry. I digress. (I think this is what that word means)

Broadchurch is awesome! I'm still mad about the last season though. I thought for sure I had it figured out and I was wrong. :disapprove:

Hey, welcome.:D No, they can't.(I don't think) That said, they could 'hard block' you, which could impact your standing/account.
I understand the need for cash, truly. But, don't let it change how you turk or your 'morality'. If your account gets shut down, one day of cash isn't worth the lifetime of earnings.
:) My 2 cents.

Don't want to know where you stashed it.:)
I thought it was heroin smuggling, in the maple syrup casks?

i need alarms reminding me to not snack so much
I find that crippling procrastination is the best diet plan. Fleeting thoughts of food cross my mind but, I forget to eat for the first 12 hours. Then I cook. I forget about for another 4. Go warm it up. Forget for another 2. Finally eat it cold and catch a few hours of sleep. That's a day. I'd be a lot bigger if I had food within arms reach.:)

Yes, I agree. It's pretty silly, but the whole 'remaking watered down versions of English shows' has been a thing in this country for a long time. I don't get it. I guess production companies over here just want to try to milk stuff that they never had anything to do with in the first place.

And yes, Broadchurch was really good. I never watched the American version, though. I had no desire.

NOBODY else could be Moss to me. Love the rest of the cast too but Richard Ayoade is the only Moss I'll ever acknowledge.
