Getting a PT RL job was one of the best things I could have done, honestly.

Do you have any trade experience? I worked for a house cleaning company for a year before just deciding to do it on my own.

My boyfriend did the same for landscaping.

that's the thing. i dont have any trade experience (at the moment)

i have like 4 yrs of office experience
so maybe that'll help w some jobs

it would probably be wise for me to take some classes

Office experience is always helpful, that's pretty much the only real job experience I have. Look into some data entry jobs or a mail clerk job.

Office experience is always helpful, that's pretty much the only real job experience I have. Look into some data entry jobs or a mail clerk job.

Seriuosly this. One of my friends is a mail clerk for the post office and makes like $17/hr.


Also there's tons of threads on reddit on how to pump up your resume and make it stand out. :thumbup:

Going to take a break from fb and all the posts about it.

I stopped going to FB because folks there don't post normal stuff it's either the most disturbing stuff or the most joyous stuff or their gaming stuff or their Buy/Sell stuff.

All the folks I went to high school with try to "friend" me all the time, and I'm like , "We didn't like each other in school, Why would I be your friend now?"

I check Udemy and Udacity and Coursera a few times a week to see what they're offering for free. I don't know if they're going to translate to any real jobs, but any skill I can add on my resume on Indeed seems to result in me getting more job offers. And since I mentioned it, put a resume on Indeed. List any job you've had, any skills you have, etc. That includes mturk. I'm not really looking for a job right now cuz I have a 3 month old, but I get emails a few times a month at least from employers trolling Indeed for recruits.

I'm a college dropout, stumbled into my sales rep job because I had to take over for my grandpa when he got sick. So don't feel bad, my demographics look waaaay worse than yours.

My entire life is a lie. All I heard adults tell me my entire life was I needed to go to college to make a lot of money or else I would end up working on an oil field or as a plumber and now the tables have turned. College is where you go to get 100k in debt and working on an oil field is where you go to make a six figure salary. smh, thanks mom and pops!
