Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, Redux, SQL, Advanced Algorithms, Data Structures is the course curriculum which is fine by me. I know a lot of people have good things to say about ruby on rails and javascript is like a no brainer to learn. Im so excited! Thinking about signing up for some udemy courses so I wont be a complete noob while I am there
Awesome! That's what my husband does too :) Hope it goes well and you learn a ton! There are a lot of good reading lists and articles on Medium too if you want to get started early.

If this is inappropriate to ask I apologize and if you dont want to answer I understand. How much do one of these bootcamps cost and how long are they?
Around 10k is usually the price and they run for like 3 to 6 months on average. I've already went way past the 10k mark when I was in college and I gained absolutely nothing from it so Im not scared to take a leap of faith and put a large some of money down but I understand that this is not viable for a lot of people.

I'm in Bloc for full-stack web development and it was like 9 grand, I originally signed up for the 6 month bootcamp which calls for 4 or 5 hours a day of work. It's very intense. Life intervened with me however, and I found out I was pregnant like 5 days after I started the bootcamp, so I've switched to the year long program. Really I can take as long as I want though, I'm just forfeiting the tuition reimbursement they offer by not finishing 'on time'. I'm also in a Udacity web development course, because they gave me a scholarship for it, so it's free.

I just got Masters and I want to express my gratitude to you all. If it wasn’t for this forum, I never could have gotten the Masters Qual. This wasn’t something that I did on my own. Everyone here helped. Having a collaborative environment like this one where people share, sacrifice and help each other out makes a huge difference.

Ever since I joined the forum, I have been constantly amazed at the sophistication, talent, skill sets and contributions that I see here everyday that go unremarked and taken as simply “everyday". It is more than just everyday. It is special.

Taking on the self-assigned task of learning how to code, creating a mentoring system and an environment in which people are given the space to learn without fear of criticism, building scripts not for personal benefit, but for everyone’s benefit. And where else would you see workers willing to be transparent enough to share the details of their paychecks every week. Definitely not in a professional environment or between competing salespeople in a “sophisticated” corporate culture.

What is happening here is laying the groundwork for the future of what work will look like and this is the cutting edge of it’s evolution. Everyone here has a contribution to make and everyone’s contribution is important even if that simply means reading posts and learning from others. Everyone here matters.
What a great post, Trucker ... thanks and congratulations on your Masters qual. :)

And for those wondering the ins & outs of obtaining the Masters Qual ... there aren't any. No one knows the algorithm, what they look for, how many HITs approved, length of time turking ... nothing. It's a mystery to us all  Keep doing quality work, avoiding rejections and blocks and hopefully one day an email pops up for you.
