been looking at a Murano or Escape and similar.....although I'm having a really hard time not buying this Land Rover I found....but that 15mpg is a killer since I'lll basically be using it for trips out of town....

Every time someone asks me about what I do for work and I mention mturk, they all wanna know what it is. Then they actually see what it is and their eyes glaze over. I lost count of how many friends and family members have asked to get in on mturk (taking my kind heart's time and energy to explain/help) and wasted my time. I used to get friends coming out of the woodwork asking about my 'work from home' job lol. Amazon made that way easier to deal with by simply not accepting every application. (Everyone who has asked me about mturk and signed up has been rejected.)

In the end, this kind of work just is not for everyone. And I've learned it's best to just avoid talking about work, too. Lost count also of how many snide, judgmental comments people can make about self-employment work. Like, "When are you going to get a real job?" "You can't support yourself on that, really, can you?" "Oh, you're "working"?...sure." And let's not forget all the people who assume because you work from home you're available 24/7.

But I'll never forget the day I quit my dead-end-retail-drag-your-ass-out-of-bed-for-someone-else's-paycheck and began the life of turking in pajamas...with my own schedule...being my own boss.

If I could go back and make the decision all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

used 2001 Range Rover that a local repair shop with a great reputation has restored....or a 2006 LR2 since they don't have the air ride that tends to go out on you
