also, I think it was pretty stupid of me. her family wanted her to bring me because they figured it would scare me away. unfortunately for them, I was depressed at the time and desperate for human contact, so I agreed. plus, like Devil_Dawg @Catfish said, I actually thought I was getting laid after.

No one really knows. My own opinion is that a lot of things go into it: account age, approval/rejection rate, number of blocks, geographic location. Plus it's worth noting that they likely monitor worker quality on batches that still approve, meaning that even though your HITs approve, that doesn't mean that it was necessarily done at high quality for them. (But that's true for any requester in general. Some still approve HITs that are poor quality because they don't want to deal with angry workers or still want to compensate workers for their time even though they clearly messed up or didn't understand the instructions, etc.)

i couldn't even catch...hit it the second it popped up and been going ham on it for 45m...nada
