Armadillos were another thing I had 0 familiarity with. Apparently they're not very bright and get hit by cars a lot. :/ It is sad.

Regular...ants...bite? Where I grew up, regular ants were about as dangerous as ladybugs.

black ants do. idk if they're the same as like, the tiny ants that come in your house sometimes, but they're small and definitely do bite

I try not to be cynical but that is 100% the reason. Kansas got their share of the license money and now Florida wants a piece of the action. Im pretty sure you have to get a new license in whatever state you move to for this reason.

Oh, and fire ants were neat. Which, being from the PNW, I had no idea even existed until the first time I stepped in a nest. Yeah, taking walks in Florida was...exciting. Always.

So, I didn't know Georgia had armadillos until I lived there.

I found out because Bearnie got out and got so spooked it took 11 days to get him back home. We caught up to him one night, and he's coming towards me, and BAM! Armadillo! Lemme tell ya, Bearnie did not have an amazing reaction to an armadillo barreling towards him.

so for Christmas I got my son a remote control car specifically for toddlers. This thing randomly starts going even when there is literally nothing touching the remote. I kind of want to throw the thing in the trash and spread some holy water around my house.
