Dude, if you want to get people off the subject do what I do: tell them you do specialized data entry for marketing companies. (Which doesn't cover every aspect of turk, no, but unless people turk they pretty much won't get it anyway so) Perfectly respectable, and people's eyes glaze over and they change the subject like whoa.
