Matt's mom actively hates me and tried to run me off for awhile. He and I went to the same damn college, but she still acts likes I'm a total idiot who isn't good enough for her precious spawn. At least we don't live 30 minutes from her house anymore

Matt has this southern way of seeming as if he has way better manners than me, while simultaneously being the most withering person on the planet. It's honestly impressive.

I wouldn't stress too much about meeting his family! It probably seems more intimidating than it actually will be! I'm sure your fella adores you and doesn't care if you're from a different upbringing. He's with you cause he knows you're fab!
