That sounds awesome. I still enjoy seeing a movie with a crowd sometimes though, it's a different atmosphere. Plus I have moviepass so as many movies as I want for 10 a month

I hear ya. I could see still going to the drive-in theater this summer, as that's always fun! We don't have a movie theater in our town at all now, so it's a bit of a drive for that. Our projector is nothing fancy, labeled as 1080p, but it just handles that as an input, and it displays in 480. Still great for movies, tv, and even some games are doable and/or more enjoyable on it. I'll be looking into a better setup down the road I think!

I am pretty sure they are looking for the way the app or site displays on an actual phone screen. even if your monitor is set to the same size it's still not the same, different resolution and tech.

That's a good point, that I hadn't thought of. I do have the settings set to mimic the resolution, though I obviously cannot fully emulate the technology in the phones display. I sent a message about what I was doing for their HITs yesterday, though I never received a response. I'll hold off for now, it's not that hard or pricy to find an android device on FB or CL. Thanks for the perspective

It seems to be indeed. I've been lurking on avsforums, and other sites for a few years. I jumped at the cheap pj and screen on amazon and ebay, for the shear cost. less than $100 for both total, I figured even if it's crap, it could have it's uses. But it replaced our 37" 1080 HD tv, after moving the couch back a little ways

It has it's flaws for sure. The pj lens, or something internal, has collected a few particles of dust that have proven immovable without opening it up for a proper cleaning. The screen is not perfect, as it has an ever so slight wrinkle, but it is a roll up screen. It's gotten better over the 8 months or however long it has been hanging now, as we never retract it.

I want a fixed screen, and a more adequate projector. I'm not a total audiophile, but close. I love all aspects of home theater, so I'll be driven crazy to find a balance between what I want and what I can afford, and I'm sure that I'll make out alright at some point. I'll run this one as long as it can, so I'm sure I'll appreciate whatever I upgrade too at that point But, not to clog the thread with all of this...Back the work lol
