What's really funny is that the guy who invented the format has specially, and repeatedly, said it's pronounced JIF.

GIF people are the same dumb dumbs that used bi-weekly to mean every other week for so long that the English language gave up and went "sure, verbally let everyone know you're a dolt, we don't care anymore."

I'm not gonna trust the guy who invented gifs to tell me how to pronounce gif, he's too biased.
