This is not exactly an answer, but I've been looking into this issue for other reasons... and if you're using Chrome, you can right click and choose Inspect Element. Then some code appears and you right click on the selected option, and choose Add Attribute. Type "contentEditable=true". Then you can use editing commands on the actual text in the page. Probably not the simplest option for completion codes though...
