They still worth it? I was browsing through the thread in a rush this morning, but I thought I read about them adding more writing requirements or something. Never been a huge fan of C-sats, but money is money!

the few that i grabbed earlier had two writing sections at the top that did not say optional, and they asked for specific information in your comments.

Nah, I think you'd know. What tipped me off is the 3-5 rows I keep consistently getting when I know there is more out there than that.

They said on this forum a long time ago that writing is not required. However, if you see something out of the ordinary, you can write about that in the text boxes.

All of the questions have a little red asterisk beside them except for the writing prompts if you look carefully. They are just there if you want to comment on them I'm almost certain. I know some of the templates that they use, like the one I'm looking at now are old and they said only they ratings need to be filled out. That's the way I've always done them and I've never had a problem, so yeah makes sense.

Okay cool, thanks for all of the responses! That all sounds normal. I thought something changed

@An Island in the Sun, I hear you there. I've become squeamish about surgeries and things of that nature in recent years. I'm having surgery on my knee in a week or so, so I've been avoiding Csats if I can find other things to turk on lol.

I'm thinking of opting for being not fully sedated, so I can watch the procedure on a monitor (it's an option now) and subtly mentioning before the procedure, that I am paid to rate the quality of these procedures...

I am 25 years old but mturk does not allow me to do this survey as I do to corraborate my age? and be able to do the survey, have this rating?

Yes, that's correct. IIRC, they said they only wanted insightful comments about the surgery that could actually help the surgeon to do better.
