Not strange to me, I feel like TV is more rewarding. Even a good movie feels disappointing because you don't get as much content.

I'm still a movie guy, and find most TV shows severely fall off, and offer unnecessary content and side stories just to fill time. I'm pretty sick of content being drawn out so much just because the medium allows it. I really don't have interest in spending upwards of 50+ hours with most of these television series' today. A movie is a nice complete story in 2-hours, no filler

I like the thing I"ve seen in a couple shows where season 1 is its own little story, season 2 is its own and whatever. That way I don't end up going WHAT THE FLIP IT WAS CANCELLED?! WHAT HAPPENED? WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS TO MYSELF?!

The flip side of that is that a TV series can have a bad episode here and there and still be decent to good overall. If any one element of a movie is weak, the rest of it tends to be pretty dramatically effected (or maybe I'm just that picky)

I agree with you, though; I'm totally a binger, but if a series stumbles more than three times I'm out pretty quick
