I've done this before tbh. Last time I fell during a ballet lift, and this time I tried too ambitious of a skate jump and wiped out on my tailbone and wrist. On the plus side, didn't dislocate my wrist again, so really, it's an improvement on my normal level of clumsy.
I've already ordered a much more padded pair of figure skating shorts so that when my tush heals, I won't literally bust my ass the next time I try something crazy.
My tens unit is super helpful right now too. Luckily, years of sciatica has primed me for this type of discomfort. I really only feel it now when I bend over or have to go from sitting to standing. After the shot, I'd say it's like a 5/10, so not bad at all. I am 100% glad I sprang for a weekend visit to after hours care, because I think I'd be way more miserable otherwise.
