I haven't seen the first one but paradox was...totally different than 10. like, a whole different genre almost. It was good, but I much preferred 10. A lot of movies don't really keep my guessing, but this one definitely did.

What were your thoughts on the clover field paradox? I thought it was cool but not like the other movies.

I thought it was boring and almost turned it off. It was nothing more than a generic sci fi and the only way they knew they were getting money was that super bowl gimmick. I loved the first one. Second one was really good. Even having almost nothing to do with the original, it was still a good film. Third, I would just skip. That's me though. Also, it was a pretty cheap way to make all of them intertwine without actually intertwining. JJ knew he had to find a way to make them intertwine for the die hard Cloverfield fans and that was a terrible way to do it. And then you get to the last 5 seconds and it's like, really, JJ? Seems like most people haven't even seen the first, or don't like it so I guess if you like generic sci fi movies, and haven't really been there from the start, the 3rd might be alright.
