Put it in a bowl of cold water in the sink :) It will thaw quickly ... change the water every so often though (like 20ish min). You'll be gtg!
microwave so your chicken is nicely defrosted and ready to make something delicious :p SweetiePuff @SweetiePuff 's method is better if you have more time though
Good plans, I'll throw it in water since it was for supper anyway. Fish and mac and cheese for lunch. Because fiance said we're too poor for pizza. "pay bills, pay you taxes, stop borrowing money from people" nag nag nag

i lived without a microwave for about a year and didn't realize how awful that was til i got one :p
I feel like I only ever want to use a microwave when I don't have one. I'll feel like I need one for everything. Then when I do have one, it's pretty much nothing more than a really expensive bread/tortilla warmer.

I had 6 bitcoin in a wallet after they first started. I wrote that long ass code down and tucked it away safe. I have torn this house apart, must have been a great hiding spot. I just never thought it would be worth anything. Cuts deep.
That sounds like a Big Bang Theory episode.

Do any of you have the Hotel Photos qual? If so have you seen any of the 10 cent hits the last two days? I've only been catching 8 cent hits and I'm starting to wonder if they changed the ID for the 10 cent hits.
I haven't seen 10's in a few days either.

I have lived without a microwave for 2 years now, you would be really surprised how easy it is and you also eat healthier too buy not buying so much processed food.
I lived without one forever (I never wanted one), but when we bought the house....there was the microwave. I use it to reheat coffee and make popcorn (in paper bags, so the slightly healthier kind).
And sometimes to heat up a potato (so it doesn't take as long to cook on the stove). IDK. When you have it, and it's right there......it's hard not to use.

I use mine several times a day.

But then, I have a second freezer where I store all our deliberate leftovers in single serving portions that we can reheat for healthy, quick lunches/dinners (and to not waste food, as most recipes aren't written for two people, so I always have leftovers that I freeze and reheat later).

Not to mention my kiddo uses it for "cooking" as we have a gas stove and he's not fond of cooking over open flame so will only microwave stuff, lol.
