Yea been a bit over a year now since they reopened the qualification.

Yep it's been a long while now. But last time they did open it up, they did multiple rounds of giving out quals and overloaded the pool because for a while there after that all the batches would go ridiculously fast.

It's still that way.
Before that round a 15k batch would last literally all day.
