SweetiePuff @SweetiePuff

how long do I boil eggs for? I keep forgetting and I don't believe google's answer. Also my mom is asleep and I usually ask her.
phew! didn't miss it :) just ran out to Panera :p

I put the eggs in water, bring it to a boil, turn the stove off, remove from burner, cover and let sit for 15min :D

Tell her everyone does them diff, but this seems to work for me...
Whenever I do them I usually put them in the non-boiling water and forget about them for about 30 minutes >.> Most of the time I remember to turn on the stove though.

I add cider vinegar then boil the water first, add eggs, 10 minutes later transfer them to an ice bath :)
I like the yolks still a little soft.

I've always used the same method that SweetiePuff @SweetiePuff uses. However, I used the oven once when the stovetop was preoccupied. I used a cupcake/muffin pan, with an egg in each hole...but this video just uses the oven racks.

I'm not sure if the oven or the stovetop is more Jaded @Jaded style. Maybe there's a microwave method? You don't seem to like stoves/they don't seem to like you lol

I run cold water over the eggs the cover them with water and put them in the freezer for 15 minutes. they are never hard to peel
even better put a small hole in each end then blow through one end, sorted and profit

It's just because I'm too easily distracted. I'm also very anti microwaved eggs.
That's understandable, I always forget things on the stove. I'm famous for boiling water multiple times before I remember to actually come back and put food in the boiling water. I'll hear the pot dancing around empty on the stove top a time or two before I get back to the kitchen in time. As far as eggs in the microwave, as a kid I would only eat scrambled eggs if they were made in the microwave. Still my favorite, and now that I think of it, the only thing that I really like in a microwave at all.

Just saw the more horrifying CGI...snowball? I guess? With a face. Brian Zs are always good for nightmare fuel.

And some fugly country bumpkins with ketchup and pickles on their faces like it's some kind of spa face mask. Dear god, that's worse than the snowball.
