I decided to change the password to one of my junk emails a few hours ago and just got an alert saying someone in Iowa had logged in on a 'less secure' device and that if it wasn't me I had to change my password.

How'd they figure it out so fast

edit: I mean the password was trash, but have they just been trying it forever and finally got through, or were they just really lucky?
