It’s worth it. Long story short. I tripped and fell broke my jaw & fucked up some teeth. A few years back
My emergency veneers were 30k.

i can always technically sign up for dental insurance after what the dentist says during the consultation

some of these insurance plans take effect immediately. not all but some

im hoping to get invisalign for two teeth. either that or veneers

the thing is... i think those two teeth shifted because of my gums. so im getting my gums looked at first next week

Don’t be. The relief after having been in pain the day after is excellent. If you are nervous ask the dentist to give you something at the appointment.

pretty sure like my front tooth needs a root canal or something, some back molar had a filling pop out years ago; etc etc
procrastination in an age of not caring catching up with me... only ate on one side of my mouth for years now

Root canals are not a big deal anymore. It's mostly the noise and the probing feeling that sucks. If it's bothering you now, then it'll feel like a huge relief. Trust me, you don't want to linger with that and get an infection.

So, when I was your age. I had a tooth abscess very badly. So bad that they couldn't use anesthesia. My face was swollen up like the elephant man. So basically, I had a root canal without any sort of pain killers or anesthesia. I don't recommend it.

Hopefully, you'll get a nice orthodontist. I had my braces for a little under two years. I wore the elastics like I was supposed to! He said so many people don't. When I got them off, he told me I'd been the perfect patient. He said, "You have really pretty teeth by the way. The shape and size of them are what people most request when they have cosmetic dentistry." He was the best!
