Every time someone asks me how I make money doing it I find it hard to express just how difficult it is to break into the game and make decent scratch. Took me 5 years of trying and failing before I started consistently making above $15 a day.

I barely talked to anyone all day today and I made $13 so maybe you're right.

Turking is hard because of how inconsistent it is. One day is $70 the next is 13 hours to make $20.

Hah! Not if it was one of the "how to make money at home" sorta articles that The Penny Hoarder and those types of blogs put out.

I don't think he rejected, just paid really, really low and was very vocal about his opinions on it. This was maybe 4-5 years ago, I think. Maybe 3-4 years. MTurk warps my sense of time.

It was around when I first started. About 3 years ago. It was one of the first things I witnessed on TO. And he did have hits that paid 0.00. I remember that, I was so green at the time I absorbed everything.
