PC's "Stop Auto Slowdown" button is great for this.That's not excessive.

I use HF @ 1100ms, HC @ 1000ms and then I'm obvs working HITs. So that keeps me right under the threshold of polling more than once per second. I have found that once you end up with one PRE, it ends up in a loop where the first one causes more. At least, that's what I've found.
Yeah but, if you're using anything else with PC, that becomes moot. PC may not cause them at that point but, other things will. I just don't find that PC has enough 'value added', over HC, to warrant me using an extra extension.

Sorry. I haven't use PC in months so, I wasn't sure. When I get my new pc, I may use PC because I'll have the RAM and cpu bandwidth to justify the extension for the few convenience features.
I would say it'd take more than one night of testing to be able to evaluate the efficacy. Give it a week or two of daily trials and then evaluate.Since we're slightly off topic anyway, got a random question for all of you. A successful 'natural sleep remedy' would allow you to sleep for 6-8 continuous hours, if you were starting from a baseline of "normal". Now, if you're an insomniac, what would you consider success, for the same herbal remedy?

Success? I'm no good at judging sleep, as I don't value it the same as I used to.
