When I was a requester I used to like to bonus people pennies, just to tell them how awful they were. I also posted a 25c writing HIT once, and one person ended up spending a full hour writing out this long, multi-page story. I told him that I felt bad about 25c per hour being a terrible wage, so I bonused him a nickel with a note that said "You're welcome." Fun times.

Why do I get the feeling that the page a potential requester sees when signing up to MTurk (TOS, etc) is slightly different than the one that we as workers see? Like, do all requesters get training on how to be an ass?

So I've jumped on the budget / Dave Ramsey train...I was thinking about starting a thread in the social forum to keep track of everything and hopefully keep myself accountable and motivate other people...but I'm still up in the air about it.
