Not a bad thing. Definitely tastier. I would do the same, except my quitting drinking always coincides with an attempt at eating healthier. It's not as much fun.

I gained that really quick 50 or so pounds in the first few months sober and have been leveled off at 215 to 225 for last 8 to 10 months. I'd prefer to be at 190 to 200 range but meh at 43 I'm cool with it as long as it doesn't increase from here. I carry it well and don't look "fat" always been a brawny dude. The thing that is doing it is not working physically like I always had before, that was better than any gym membership. If I increase my walking I should be fine.

Awwwww..... Names are awesome! I am slightly more creative though and named my black cat Blacky lol
