oh, ok, I wasn't sure if you meant mturk goals, or goals in general
well, gosh, no one has ever asked me why I wanted to quit drinking soda before
but I used to drink about 8-12 cans of sprite per day, every day, for almost 10 years
I love the sprite
I can drink it warm you know - and even when warm, I can tell the difference between sprite and lesser sodas, like sierra mist, slice, etc..
I always had a few cases of soda in the car, and it was an expensive habit.
it's so embarrassing being in church, and having to pop open a can or two during the sermons
but, I love the sprite
anyway, between that and the smoking (a post for later - ), I started having dental problems
I had all of my molars removed after a year or so of various problems, breaking teeth, and no dentist for like five years (no insurance)
after the dentist took out the molars that I was unable to remove myself, she said I needed to quit drinking so much soda
we had a viscous argument. mostly because my mouth was numb and speaking was difficult.
I knew she was right, and that I had to quit soda
but I was always so thirsty for the bubbly water, that sweet beverage I enjoyed for so much of my life
One day I was in an aldi, and just like @Serial Mom , i tried out their flavored sparkling water
it tastes like soda, but without all the calories.
there are still some sweeteners in it, but not as much as in soda, and I can drink it without getting thirstier.
so now, I drink about 4 cases of water (44-52 liters ) per week, and I only occasionally spoil myself with soda as a treat

seltzer ruins the enamel on your teeth
(I just found that out, from a friend).
Sort of disappointing, since I like seltzer
But, oh, back to your goal thing. Well. Good luck with that and all...............
