their arms fall asleep
and they aren't allowed to get out of bed without disturbing the lil spoon

meanwhile, the little spoon has total dominion over the bed

for example: did you know that little spoons are allowed to have blankets? all you have to do is TAKE them from the big spoon

Being the little spoon is horrible. You have to lay like the big spoon wants you to lay. Their arm pillow is super uncomfortable. And you can't really move easy because you don't wanna wake 'em up.
