I know I'm a little late to point this out, but that isn't what mturk is named after. Mturk is named after a chess playing "robot" from the 18th century. In actuality it was a man inside the box controlling the movements of the chess pieces. Quite a fitting name since both were humans imitating artificial intelligence. The thing was named a mechanical Turk because it's outfit was in the design of a Turk the outfit meant to make it look like an Oriental sorcerer and mechanical because it was supposedly a mechanical man.
