Do you know if using a VPN will set off red lights at Amazon HQ and possibly get your turk account suspended?

Not likely, if you're using it in the same region you live in (ie - live in US, using VPN with a US server) However, I rarely use my VPN when turking unless I'm doing a sketchy HIT, or I am working from an internet connection other than my home connection. Many caution against using a VPN while turking, so unless you have a specific reason to, I wouldn't bother.

You probably should only be using that if you are streaming with Kodi..or using torrents to you know...

I use a VPN and have for years. Mostly for internet privacy and security...they do have a use other than covering up illegal internet activity

It is possible that something could happen as a result of turking with a VPN, which is why I only use it when turking away from home or on HITs that bring me to sketchy sites. But, it's only likely that you'll run into problems if you're using a VPN to circumvent something, etc. Just IMO though.

Still, I'd be careful telling someone that the only reason they should use a VPN is for illegal activity. They are incredibly useful for keeping your internet activity secure, with regard to finances and otherwise Such as when using hardcore vit C like @PeachyRider (which while not illegal, I still don't agree with)

You're right, I didn't even think about that, a lot of times I use it without even thinking about it.

I have left my VPN on by accident and did a survey and got rejected with them saying it was a repeat IP taking the survey. So watch out for that because someone could have already used that IP to take a survey before. Small chance but it does happen.

The bonus is actually a payment for a hit that they had people do after depositing $2 in their PayPal (if they didn't have it) so they could do the hit We had to return the hit, and just wait til the $2 was deposited and had a link sent with the hit again (not survey content, just how they made it possible for us to do the hit). Kind of cool.
