I think I've been blocked by Research Tasks. I haven't done any work for them in a while. I did look at a couple of their video chat HITs and returned them because I thought they were underpaid and didn't work well for me. Now I see I am not qualled to do them.

If they blocked me for returning 3-4 HITs, then that's absolutely ridiculous.

EDIT: I no longer have the "Auto-Granted Qualification to Prevent too many Retakes is 1" because the author deactivated it. So either it's global on their part or a block for me for absolutely nothing.

We sometimes just don't know WHAT the fornication is going to happen, day to day.

In Canada you will be excluded from some, as there are quite a few that are US only. But over $5 hits are rare/not that easy to catch even with a US qual. We usually celebrate when we get one.

What you can make a day varies by what you put into it and how fast you acquire qualifications (meaning "closed qualifications" so only people with those qualifications can work on certain hits). Yesterday I was home sick and made almost $40, but normally I *try* for $20 per day. I often fail at that because I have a full-time job. But even half-paying attention I can pull in $15 and that's with having to let hits go that I can't do from work that I could do if I was at home.

So yeah, it totally varies. Your earnings will increase over time, though, so stick with it if you don't mind the variability of this type of work.

Also install scripts or extensions like Mturk Suite to help you find and capture hits (most of my hits are caught by running an PandA).
