It was my first time.

That's how we all learn. And it can be difficult because they can be respected people or companies and they still will find a way to do it. The best ones I've found will either pay regularly or will put the job on mTurk without the vital information. So if someone else accepts it they have to return it. Because the person wanting the work has sent you the job in email and no one else can get it. You still accept it on mTurk to get paid. If they just use your ID number someone else will still try to steal that job.

I would love to keep doing these, but I'm hesitant. I have completed 3 so far, all back on the 13th. I messaged the requester last week, to see why they were still pending. I was reassured by the requester that if they were going to be rejected, that they would have been by now. But then they emailed again asking for the HIT IDs for the 3 HITs that I had completed, as they were not seeing any pending HITs on their end.

It's been since mid week last week, so I'm still waiting a bit before messaging them again. When I last responded, I sent them screenshots of the HITs pending in both the Dashboard activity page for the 13th, as well as in HT. I also found the individual HIT IDs and Assignment IDs and sent those as well.

Is there anyone else here who still has pending HITs for DMG Amsterdam? Just curious who I'm sharing a boat with.

It's okay. We all have stories like that. I typically don't do follow-ups unless it's another HIT. But I'm also a wee bit lazy.

I just spent some time on the phone with a super nice Paypal support person and I got the invoice sent (it was a Chrome issue). So fingers crossed that'll do it.

Yes, they're sitting in my completed / pending approval area. I suppose they will likely auto approve at some point I just don't want to spend my time now doing more of their HITs, if they will always take 30 days to approve. Just wanted to see if anyone else is dealing with this, or if it's a fluke. If this is just happening to me, I'll probably do more HITs and see what happens. If this is par for the course, I'll probably put my time into other HITs for the time being.

For this week, I'm focussing a little more on making accessible money (money I can put toward bills within a week or so of working for it.) Just trying to play catch up, this surgery and recovery really screwed with my day-to-day, and bills aren't so forgiving. Normally I can deal with a decent chunk of cash pending for a few weeks, just trying to limit how much of that type of work I'm doing this week.
