dude, read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. It's not smut but it has lots of Scottish men (and women) and it's amazing. And IMO she gets the dialect down pat.

Dude, the only reason I *haven't* reread Outlander recently (or dared to watch the TV series) is because I've had too much boring personal crap going on recently to be able to handle how hard the end of the series makes me bawl. Gabaldon can handle her shit, that's for sure

Dude, the only reason I *haven't* reread Outlander recently (or dared to watch the TV series) is because I've had too much boring personal crap going on recently to be able to handle how hard the end of the series makes me bawl. Gabaldon can handle her shit, that's for sure

I've never watched the show but that's because every tv show based on a book is super disappointing for me. I'd rather just enjoy the book The only reason i haven't reread it lately is because I owe the public library a new textbook and I can't afford that or the Gabaldon series...lol
