I didn't see the HIT to check out the instructions but I could see it maybe violating the TOS because you can't ask workers to do anything to "generate "referred" site visits or click-through traffic" which Amazon might consider that HIT to be, if their goal is to get their numbers of book purchases up by paying workers to buy the book? But really, if anything, Amazon would send a warning email to the requester or suspend the requester's account for violating the TOS. I don't think any workers would be affected in that case.I don't really see much of an issue with it.
But queen of the ToS @electrolyte might have something to say.
This isn't some new requester trying to do some scam, they have 167 reviews on Turkopticon and have been around these parts for many years with good paying studies.
