Not a dumb question, but I'm fairly certain it was the 11th day, after 10 completed days of Turking.
And even then, I didn't transfer til I hit $50, heh.

I'd say microbes, celestial stuff, and concepts could be considered alive, but I would probably say "never" if that was the case rather than always.

I generally transfer every day because you don't know if Amazon will ever try to mess with your account.

Most popular banks it should be next business day as long as you send the transfer before about 5pm.
I use BofA and it does.

Some take 2-3 days.
I don't know if anything takes the 7-10 days that Amazon estimates.
