I watched too many 40s and 50s movies on the black 'n white TV. I don't think a straw hat or a purple pimp hat is a proper fedora. Modern don't make it with hats. Style is all that counts...and a fedora shouldn't look silly, but suave.

I agree, but in the time frame of 2008-2009, the fedora's were not exactly classic. I think
