Also, I'm not sure that the researchers ever bother to control for how much their surveys make the respondent want to die, and the effect that may have on their response and the data that response generates. Should I inform them of this oversight?

Over the last 24 hours I have reviewed SNIPS voice recording HITs for around 400 turkers.
Judging from the voices it seems like at least 75% of male turkers want to die.

My timer showed 50 minutes, but I had to stop and cook lunch in the middle It did get a bad gateway halfway through but once I refreshed it continued where I left off, and it did submit correctly, so fingers crossed.

for a speed reader like you, that's probably right but for me it is usually around what they quote. Thanks for pointing out my inadequacies though, good times.
