How do you get around the Alexandrias where you need to negate? If a slipcover is not found on an iceberg, how do you write a sentence without negation?

You don't have to. It says it can be factually false. So, "A slipcover can be found on an iceberg."

im not sure if thats what she wants. rocks are clearly not alive.

It's OK if the assertion is factually false. For example, the subject "rock" and the question "is it alive?" should convert to "Rocks are alive".

Look at the examples in the instructions. If this was the case then there wouldn't be an example that says, "A cat can bark."

After spending 10 minutes on one of these Alexandrias, because some people write 15 word questions, I get this "There is no negation in the question. Please make sure your assertion does not use negation. Refer to Example 1 in the table above."

I knew I shoulda just skipped it. Now I'm sadface.

That's why I stopped doing spellout HITs. The broken grammar and convoluted sentences make my brain confused.

If it helps, for these Alexandrias, they'd prefer if you correct typos and spelling. I asked them, even though I was doing it anyways, just to make sure.

I kinda regret taking the time to do that, I probably could have made another buck or two before they were gone . . .
