As @micky said, you'll have to re-do it. I believe these are done in the iFrame, so I don't think the data would have been submitted if the HIT itself was unsuccessfully submitted. You can message the requester, and see if they got the data...they may be willing to let you return the HIT, and bonus you the compensation. Not the most likely outcome though.

For the future, though it is not by any means the best solution, I've recently started purposely logging out and back in at the beginning and middle of my turk day, to prevent these situations where you get logged out and don't find out until you try to submit a HIT. Like I said, it's not the simplest solution...but it's worked and prevented me from getting logged out by surprise.
