Why do requestors ask what we think is the purpose of their study? Is this just some weird narcissism?
Sometimes if you guess correctly, they will remove your response from their collected results because you weren't naive to what they were trying to ask or find out. Or other times, they'll just report their written paper that some percentage of the respondents guessed the purpose of the study so the results should be interpreted with that in mind. It seems to be asked most often in surveys that involve manipulation.

I was excited to catch the Ambuehl hit but after reading reviews, not so much.

Why do requestors ask what we think is the purpose of their study? Is this just some weird narcissism?
just add the word 'perceptions' to your answer and it will be good enough "Perceptions of others beliefs" "Perceptions of others racism towards others" "Perceptions of others and morality" "Perceptions of others perceptions of others perceptions and those whose perceptions are different than others perceptions"

but don't make the mistake i did once when I said "Perceptions of otters and their morality"
once you click submit, it's too late
