Does anyone have any suggestions in terms of classes one could take online that are free, or close to free, that will let you work in a job sector in which you can work from home? Sorry if it's off topic but I've been looking into furthering my education.

You can audit almost all courses on Coursera, but most of the tests and peer grading is not available unless you pay up. I think they have fee waivers, so that might not be a big problem. The quality of those courses are usually pretty high, made by lots of high quality universities.

https://www.reddit.com/r/udemyfreebies/ has coupon codes to get courses on Udemy for free. The quality is hit or miss, and coupons that are offered might not be what you're looking for, but checking that every day can get you some pretty decent courses.

That's the free part, but building up client contacts and actually working from home is probably the harder part. Bigger places that allow remote work will almost certainly want actual job experience. Ironically it would probably be easier to get hired for remote work if you lived outside the US. I would love to unleash my frustrations with incompetent off-shore workers.

Why do I feel like it's more likely that that's a photo of @Jaded when she was younger...the first time she ever got to hold a pen! Obviously you have a love for all things arts and crafts (pens, crayons, stickers, etc)

sounds like an awesome day! my kiddo just played with the boy upstairs for the first time, they're the exact same age. His dad and I looked away for a minute and when we looked back they were very obviously scheming about going to the area we told them not to go. they're both 2.5 lol

I just asked my mom, she said I was like that when I was a kid and would color everything, including the walls and my siblings. I would also spell my name as amBer.
