not sure what era the wife beater name derived from, maybe the 40's but I know a ton of 50's and 60's exploitation films seemed to always have a guy wearing one while whoopin on a gal

Yeah, I thought they were called wifebeaters because only the sort of shitty guys who beat their wives ever wear them alone.

Thank you guys for your responses! I have more than once called out, loudly, to my kid, "Wear a wife-beater under that shirt!" And I just said, "Go put a wife-beater on, then eat your dinner, then put the nice shirt on." (He just got out of the shower and was getting dressed and I don't want him slopping food on his nice shirt.)

If I said "tank top" he would be confused. Tank tops are something you wear on the outside, or topside, of underwear. To me, a wife-beater is underwear, just like underpants are.

My kid is getting used to, but still can't believe, I call them that despite me explaining why they are called that.

Now, I want to know why the packaging calls them "A-Shirts".

Because wife beaters are a*holes...so they went with that? LOL!

i never even heard them referred to as that until i was like in high school so i was like wtf

The first time I heard of it was on aim or some chat room and somebody said he was putting on his wife beater as a joke...it made no sense and he had to explain it to me.

I've done a little over 2000 of them in the past two days. They're not as good as the normal A9s, but with a script that lets me do all of the questions with the numpad, I still manage about $6 while listening to a podcast.

Obviously, I'd RATHER have a better batch or some particularly good surveys, but hey, better than the nothing I would normally manage while feeling lazy.

I can barely get to $4 p/h cause my DL speed absolutely sucks.

Schools out I guess that's why I'm babysitting my grandchildren every day for free and losing money on turk. Their 11 and almost 7 boy and girl. By the end of the day I'm ready to pull my hair out. They nick pick at each other all day. Thank God my son will have the pool ready Friday. Let them do it then grandma will be in the pool doing????????? Can't say anymore.

What if this property literally doesn't exist? I have everything pulled up and there isn't anything even remotely close to what is listed, makes zero sense. I feel like something is off here. I have a listing that's 3+ years old.

If I remember right they only give a property that does exist. I know they took me hours on the qual. I may know some resources to help you look. You can PM if you want

A shirts? As in A hole shirts? Why not just give it up and call them WB Shirts? (But I guess that would not be a good idea as people would freak out thinking they were endorsing Wife Beating, whereas it's ok to endorse A Shirts.)
