credit rating has soo much to do with how much you pay for stuff. Car insurance goes up, with bad rating. Try and get utilities installed with a bad rating, they require a deposit. etc.

Right? That seems logical to me.

I think it's more likely that the new batch of quals going out will lead to only a small handful of people that work on them with any sort of regularity. Most will probably do a batch or two, then realize how awful and tedious they are and never touch them again. They're certainly not for everybody.
