You can feed them lettuce but it's $5 per person. I miss the quarter machines they used to have where you could buy the food by handfuls and throw it to the animals.

They have a Ripley's believe it or not exhibit this month so yayy

They're cute as babies, but I'm scared of the grown ups. I saw one sit on somebody in a cartoon once and I'm still not convinced that's not how they kill people

Do you get to feed a giraffe though? Cause that is a gross, but fun, experience that everyone should do.

We go to Lake Tobias every summer and they are getting giraffes in mid-July! I'm so excited.
