Eh, still not really worth it IMO.


Although I'm super picky so others might find it worth it.

I saved it as a "break in case of emergency" hit and ended up banging it out at night because my PE sucked yesterday.

I agree, but I also think it depends. The red seems to be a little more accurate when it comes to survey requesters, but way less accurate with batch requesters. I think people often rate batches poorly just because they're not good at the HITs or they don't fully understand the instructions (sometimes even leading to rejections and such.) There are also instances where people will rate a requester poorly to try to get others to steer away, but I don't think that's super common. But I do know that probably at least half of the batch requesters on my include list are either red or orange on TO.

Yeah, I do mainly surveys (I suck at batches for some reason).

Even then the redness may come from people who get butthurt about screeners and 1 bomb.
Could come from an old batch where they rejected people and they haven't recovered their TO score even though they have improved as a requester..

Few months back there was a good paying batch requester with all 1s but he had an instant AA.

And I think I've finally hit the point where my girlfriend wants to strangle our daugthers boyfriend I knew this was coming...this past weekend he acted like a little bitch in our drive way screaming at her...dude literally can't be told no about anything.

Then yesterday my girlfriend finds out, after she went to the lamaze classes because he wouldn't go...that boyfriend is literally dropping this shit "no one will be in the delivery room but me, if anyone else is there I won't even be at the hospital" for some reason even though he lives in our fucking house he constantly throws this shit around like he's in charge of everything...I literally thought my girlfriend was going to go punch him in his face last night, because he is literally throwing an ultimatum at our daughter on her fucking baby day "your mom or me"

It's a fuckin joke...you know how bad it is when I literally sit here and think to myself, I really wish this fucker would do something so I could smash his face in, and I'm not a violent person nor do I ever fight..yet here we are.

I know I'm not the only person I've met that curses around children, but I also live in my area's version of the projects. so...is it a normal thing people do now? or am I trashy?

A lot of university requesters share accounts so you could have one really awful grad student reject everyone and make the TO end up red and then another grad student comes along, willing to approve everyone, but has to deal with red TO. Or the reverse, too. TO is kinda worthless when it comes to university shared accounts because of that.

I liked that quote that @Tribune used to have in his signature, about TO being a context-adding machine, not a truth machine. People have always leaned too heavily on the TO colors, always taking them at face value. But not everyone shares the same experience or rates things the same way. So this leads to people fighting on TO about ratings, about people complaining about how the platform is flawed and we need a new one, and all of this other stuff. Really, TO's greatest strength has always been the reviews, not the ratings. If you want real context, you have to actually take a look at what people are saying rather than relying solely on whatever color that shows up on HF.

Frankly abusive people should have to get a punch..as being mentally, verbally and emotionally abusive is not ok- All I can say is show your daughter love and set boundaries down- And ME personally- I would tell him to never cross that line again or else

I'm just so fucking frustrated all of our children can't stand him, we don't like him. He is verbally abusive to our daughter and if you try to talk with her about it she doesn't wanna talk. She literally throws out the shit that abused women say "You don't know the real him he can be so sweet" Uh huh I know what that means..I wonder if he's physically abusive as I've heard him yell things like "shut your mouth or I'll shut it for you" the longer he's here and the more comfortable he gets the more I see this behavior..typical.

Yet I don't know what to do...she's a dependent person so she just takes all this shit doesn't wanna talk about it with us all he has to do is threaten to leave and she'll do what he wants...yet I don't want him here and no one else does either but if I kick him..she'll go too and then she's a mother of a baby with an at the very least asshole verbally abusive boyfriend and no one else around...or worse. Yet letting him be here I feel like I'm condoning this behavior I can't fucking stand and do not tolerate at all. Yet if I say anything I am the the bad or or we are the bad guy.

I just don't know what to fucking do, so that's why I want to smash his face in.
