He's still saying some of it (dammit and shit, when he drops stuff or falls) regardless of where he's at. I'm working with him on it though, telling him they're mommy/adult words and he can't say them. He's starting to get it because as soon as he lets it slip he'll say 'sorry mommy!' so I'm at least making progress with it. And of course I'm trying to watch my own language but I grew up around bad language (my dad was literally a sailor and cusses like one) so it's really hard to change it when I've been doing it for yearrrrs lol

LOL good point! hadn't actually considered the can't thing. I hate bribing him but I definitely do it sometimes when I don't see another alternative and I realllly need him to listen lol. Matter of fact, I have a potty hand. I came thisclose to flipping off one of my kid's friends a couple of weeks ago. He deserved it, lol. I caught myself just in time and told him, "Dude, I almost flipped you off for that!"

(I know his parents really well and they would tell me, "Give him the finger if he earns it!!!")

ahh, good. glad it's not just around here. and it's definitely not at him, just around him. I think I've cursed at him once and that was when he was about a foot and a half from being run over by a huge 4 door pickup because he wriggled out of my grasp and took off. and that was only because he scared the hell out of me.
