Requesters have 30 days to approve HITs. If they don't approve within 30 days, they just approve automatically. I wouldn't bother with messaging a requester about it.Hello fellow turkers! Quick question about pending HIT status. I did some HITs about a week ago, and they're still showing pending, how long should I wait before contacting the requester to ask about It?
Appreciate your thoughts and look forward to reading them.
Some will reject very quickly based on an attention check or some other criteria, and then the other hits may not approve until their auto approve date.Just the answer I needed. Thanks! I have to keep waiting now. Strange that I had 1 rejected of the 11 I submitted and it's been 15 days and 10 still pending.
Yes, they were. Someone new whom I'd never worked with before. Based on the task, I can understand why one would be rejected for sure. I think I know which one. The hit was to write a statement that would fit into a job description and which is male-based, sexist, etc., but they must make sense for a job description. Anyway, no problem waiting now that I have some insight into what is happening. Thanks for responding! :tulip:Some will reject very quickly based on an attention check or some other criteria, and then the other hits may not approve until their auto approve date.
Were they all the in the same batch - by the same requester?
The remaining 10 were all approved as of this morning. More so than getting my payment, I'm glad they could use them in whatever research they were doing, because it was challenging to write in a sexist way for job descriptions. Some will reject very quickly based on an attention check or some other criteria, and then the other hits may not approve until their auto approve date.
