they have a lot of fat and are calorie dense. they're not the best choice, but it depends how many you're eating. 40? probably okay. 400, then no, lol.
they're easy to overeat because despite being a little over half fat, they're not filling.

i LOVE pecans and pistachios though. i have to portion them into 1 ounce servings or i'll eat way too many!
